Prioritizing Optimal Service, AKP2I Establishes Operational Secretariat

Jakarta – In an effort to improve service quality and cross-line coordination optimally, the Indonesian Public Tax Consultants Association (AKP2I) inaugurated its Central Secretariat at Jalan Walang Baru VIIA Number 17B, Tugu Utara, Koja, North Jakarta. The inauguration also symbolized the organization's commitment to continue innovating and providing transparency in services oriented towards professionalism.

AKP2I Chairman Suherman Saleh said in his speech that the Central Secretariat will focus on the organization's operational activities. It will serve as a place for collecting data and documents, and will eventually become a venue for tax education and training.

“The Operational Secretariat has a strategic role as a center for administration, coordination, and internal and external services. Through its functions, the secretariat can be the main driver in ensuring that communication processes and operational activities can run continuously,” he said in an official statement on Monday (11/24).

He added that the secretariat can now be used permanently for operational administration and organizational documents. In addition, the secretariat can create a sense of security and orderliness regarding the important documents and data stored there. 

“This will automatically create a sense of security in carrying out daily operational activities, which will have an impact on optimal service for members and stakeholders  of AKP2I,” he added. 

Therefore, Suherman hopes that with the establishment of the secretariat, service improvements and data updates that have been running smoothly so far can be further enhanced in the future. 

“Not only that, this secretariat is also expected to serve as a platform for providing education and literacy to members in the future,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the North Sumatra Regional Executive Board (PD) of AKP2I, Saragi Tua Simarmata, welcomed and expressed his appreciation for the inauguration of the secretariat. He hopes that the secretariat will function properly and work towards establishing a central executive office in the future.

“Our hope is that in the future, the service will be more objective towards all members, especially in terms of administration. We feel that the service is not yet running properly. So that in the future, the actual members of AKP2I and their membership fee payments can be recorded and managed by the general secretary,” he said.

A positive response also came from the Chairman of AKP2I PD DKI Jakarta, Monang Sihombing. According to him, despite facing considerable challenges, the existence of this secretariat can still be a convenient place for its members to file their documents.

“I want AKP2I to become more professional, starting from the selection of officials to organizational administration. I also hope that AKP2I can synergize with AKP2I PD DKI Jakarta, especially in terms of reporting, so that a sustainable information ecosystem can be created,” said Monang.
